What to Expect

The Younger You® Programs are comprehensive anti-aging sessions that include diagnostic testing, evaluations and therapies that are customized so that patients can get started on Dr. Galitzer's acclaimed BioIdentical Hormone Replacement Therapy protocol. BioIdentical Hormone Replacement Therapy is begun the first day to begin symptom management.

A combination of individual work-ups, consultations, and therapies along with small group education sessions comprise the schedule for these programs.

Diagnostic Evaluations and Assessments:

• Bio-energetic Testing and Treatment for Regeneration
  The combination of modern technology with the ancient practice of acupuncture allows us to determine which nutritional supplements are right for each individual. The technology used at The Center for Anti-Aging Medicine is extremely sensitive is able to determine which illnesses we are susceptible to by measuring the energetic frequencies of our meridians; because viruses and bacteria operate on their own unique frequencies, how they interact with the frequencies of the individual allow the practitioner to pinpoint which nutritional supplements will counteract the frequencies causing our illness to create a balance within the body.
• Bio-impedance Testing and Treatment for Regeneration (Evaluation of Intracellular Hydration)
  Measures body fat, intra-cellular water and cell-membrane health by measuring your impedance index which measures your ability to respond to treatment. It also measures the amount of water in your body, and the percentage inside and outside of the cell. The more water in the cell, the healthier you are. It also measures the amount of body fat. Finally, it measures how quickly you are creating new cells in your body.
  
• Heart Rate Variability (Assessment of Autonomic Nervous System)
  Measures the health of the autonomic nervous system, adrenal health, and provides valuable information about your heart. Heart Rate Variability (HRV) is the measure of the difference between heart beats. A "normal" reading will show an increase in beats during inhalation and, correspondingly, a decrease in beats during exhalation.
• Assessment and Treatment of Adrenal/Thyroid Dysfunction
  The Adrenal Formulas are designed to strengthen the Adrenal Glands. The Adrenals sit atop the kidneys, and are the first organ affected by stress. The problem with most people is that they see stress as a threat to their survival, as opposed to a challenge. The adrenals then secreted several hormones in response to stress, the most important being cortisol and DHEA. When stress is long-standing, the adrenals get tired, resulting in symptoms such as inability to stay asleep, fatigue, allergies, hypoglycemia, and dizziness upon standing.
• Metabolic Typing and Nutritional Consult (Full-Day Program Only)
  This focuses on nourishing the gland, not just about replacing deficient hormones. We do this by first determining your metabolic type (Slow Oxidizer, Sympathetic, Para-Sympathetic, Fast Oxidizer) then nourishing the appropriate hormonal glands with herbs, homeopathy, acupuncture and soft laser, photon treatment, nutrients and flower essences.
• Individual Stress Profiling and Management Consult
  Using the Process Communication Model®, developed by Dr. Taibi Kahler, we are able to help you pinpoint your specific personality needs and help you to strategize ways to fulfill these needs in a healthy and manageable way. This model has been used by Dr. Teri McGuire, the former consulting psychiatrist at NASA, in order to improve communication between astronauts in space.
• ONDAMED® Biofeedback Evaluation & Treatment
  ONDAMED is a battery-powered biofeedback device used to determine which frequencies of sound, as well as the accompanying weak pulsed electromagnetic fields, cause a response in a patient's autonomic nervous system. Temporary stimulation by these frequencies, combined with the patient's cognitive and non-cognitive participation, promotes relaxation, muscle re-education, and various other prescription uses, such as pain relief, stress relief linked with reduction of inflammation and potential improvement of the immune system. Anti-Aging Treatments:

• Manual Lymphatic Drainage
  MLD is a light touch massage that stimulates the lymphatic system, which is the secondary circulatory system in our bodies. The lymphatic system works hard to cleans our bodies, transfers fatty vitamins such as A, D, E, and K and processes more than 50 percent of our plasma proteins for our blood. This system is also responsible for the swelling in our tissue that is a healing response for our immune system.
• LymphStar Pro Machine
  The LymphStar Pro machine is a particle beam generator which uses light and sound to de-polarize proteins in the lymphatic system that tend to clump together during a healing crisis. This machine also promotes tissue to release its water, which in turn reduces swelling. This machine is invaluable for the body to create its own stasis between regulating lymph volume and allowing the drainage to structure to equalize.
• BioPhoton Light to Regenerate Skin Tissue and Sensory Resonance Therapy
  Using a special machine called the Hyper-Photon 3D, this treatment increases the cell's ability to release energy by targeting the mitochondria within them using special lasers that emit photons into the body.
• European Facial Therapy
  A warm luxurious European Facial that includes cleansing, exfoliation, steam, hot towels, personalized ampoule (a sealed bulb used to hold a solutions for hypodermic injections), mask and foot massage.
• Massage Therapy with Hot Stones
  Using an energetic alignment technique for the soft tissue we simultaneously stimulate the muscle tissue with the hot stones. Some deep tissue and sports massage techniques may also be implemented.

Prescriptions are delivered during the Younger You® Program to begin a customized BioIdentical Hormone Therapy along with an educational consult and directions for how properly dose and take medicine. An Educational Consult is included in the Directions of How to dose and implement the protocol.
